This website is published by Dr R.C Amod Inc. (registration number 2021/706124/21), trading as Panorama Eye (“Panorama Eye”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a private company duly incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and by the disclaimer set out below. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website.

These terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, the specific consent, patient information, or fee arrangements that will govern any actual consultation, procedure or treatment provided to you by Panorama Eye.

Panorama Eye is the private specialist ophthalmology practice of Dr Rizwana C. Amod, a medical practitioner registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (“HPCSA”), Pr No. 0260000120391, practising through Dr R.C Amod Inc. Consultations take place at our rooms in Panorama, Cape Town; surgical procedures are performed primarily at Cape Eye Hospital (“CEH”), Bellville, an independent facility. Panorama Eye is not itself a hospital.

This website is directed at persons in the Republic of South Africa and is not intended to create, and does not create, a doctor-patient relationship. A doctor-patient relationship, and the duties that come with it, is only established once you have consulted with Dr Amod in person (or via a properly arranged telehealth consultation, where offered).

All information on this website is provided for general information purposes only, to describe Panorama Eye, Dr Amod, and the services offered. It is provided “as is”. Whilst we take reasonable care to ensure the information is accurate as at the date of publication, we do not warrant or guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or currency, and accept no liability for any error or omission.

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommended course of treatment, and nothing on it should be relied upon as such. General information about conditions and procedures cannot account for your individual circumstances.
